Create an Iron Man View Interface Effect
Found a very cool tutorial that I’m pretty sure you’ll like especially if you’re a fan of Marvel’s Iron Man like me. The guys at Abduzeedo did a great job on how you can create an Iron Man view interface effect, a similar effect from the one in the film wherein you can see what’s happening from inside the armored helmet, with lots of different futuristic effects popping on the screen.
With Photoshop and a little bit of Illustrator for some needed vectors, you can achieve the same effect.
Tools such as Dodge tool, Brush, Erase tool, Burn tool, Ellipse, Blend, Line Segment, Pen tool, Gradient tool, Polar Grid, Polygon and Star tool are used. You will also use different techniques such as Layer Masks, Blending Options, Color Overlay, Filter, Blur effect, Image Adjustments like Hue/Saturation, Layer Styles, Opacity and Desaturate.
According to the creator, there are also other ways to do it. Nevertheless, I hope this tutorial helps in redesigning your interface.
